The signs and symptoms of the effects of exposure to pesticides and herbicides are seen over time and are as follows: Birds exposed to pesticides have abnormal feather growth and abnormal beak and abdomen swellings. It is a good idea to take the bottle with the pesticide in for vet to see as there are antidotes for a lot of the pesticides.

Rust.. Rust is found in old cages and feeding dishes. Where ever possible get new cages and dishes if you have had yours a long time and the epoxy resin is starting to come off. Signs and symptoms are as follows,  twitching, uncoordinated movement, loss of balance, and perhaps paralysis. Remove the cause of the rust,as quickly as you can and get your bird into a safe environment.
